I CAN’T SAY IT’S UNFAIR

Well it had rained the day before

It had frozen overnight

I lived like an autumn storm

Woke up covered all in ice

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

After all the things I’ve done

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

Offered grace I once refused

I lived as though I longed for death

My arrogance disguised my truth

Now what did I expect?

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

And now I paid for what I’ve done

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

I fought and lost I fought and won

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

I can’t say “It’s unfair”

I can’t say “It’s unfair”
